[Zombie Society - Dead Detective]

A good game. I remember playing this when it first came out. Miss this series.

Note to Ruffle users. As of my playing today, the game works in the current version of Ruffle even if you get the warning screen saying it might not. The only part that did not work is the medals, though I have no idea if that is a Ruffle issue or something external.

[Monkey Teaches Typing]

Cool game, but I got stuck at the monkey discussing how to write a good newgrounds post. It will not let me type the apostrophe in "'You know that's an excellent question to bring up," (It cuts off after "'You know that". The sentence before is "Go for it monkey, write something brilliant!"

Yes, this game is still getting played in 2022. Seems simple, but there really is a lot of features to it. Definitely worth playing.

Hi. Just want to pass on to any other Newgrounds users curious why it has been so long between games that there is another game out, just not on Newgrounds. I cannot find anywhere stating this officially, but it appears VasantJ now only uploads on Gamejolt (downloadable) and Itch.io (in browser/web game) since the most recent game is two months old. [Trick or Treat Simulator]

I like the art and the sprite's floating and dropping animations are really nice. However, there was not much margin of error to squeeze between the two lights and I only managed to get through once.

[The Magical Curse]

I liked the story and lore. I wager it was partly inspired by Jumanji? My one suggestion is to check out some videos on how to design interesting maps. The indoor maps especially were kind of empty. These are some videos I personally have enjoyed.

[Just Passing - Chapter 2]

I had the same blackscreen issue talking to the artist as Qump1. It has happened to me every time I have played over the past two days, yet I watched a walkthrough of this game where this issue did not come up, so it is not affecting everyone.

It's unfortunate this sequel has so many bugs, since I really want to finish it. I'll try again another time.

Edit: Glad to hear you found a fix. What a sneaky issue. I had a similar issue once where the software I used would not allow me to have a exclamation point in the game file's name and I did not realize until after I uploaded and people were starting to download it. Yikes!

Dang sorry to hear that - I've been privately messaged about this too - no idea what creates it at the moment

Any more details - The more details I can get the quicker I can track down the cause :)

UPDATE: - figured it out! just finished uploading a fix - the artist had an "illegal" character on one of their responses - the game didn't know how to handle it so broke - it was only on one of 4 responses so it would only happen 25% of the time so I just missed it - updated the response and it works :)

[Pumpkin Carving]

Good game. Made me want to keep playing and getting better. On a side note, I found it nice that since the letters of "pumpkin" are all pretty near each other on the keyboard, I did not have to jump to the other side every other turn.
